When Wyoming folks call, Art does his best to help.  A few examples:

2026 

HB 1 Budget – Veterinarians alerted Art about a critical shortage in food animal veterinarians.  Art co-sponsored a budget amendment as a first step toward addressing this problem.

HB 39 Firearms Restoration of Rights – Art sponsored this bill after a constituent reported changes to the law in 2025 had an unintended consequence.  Art’s bill fixed the problem and passed into law.

HB 8 Stalking of a Minor by an Adult – this bill resulted from a tragic case in Glenrock involving an adult stalking minors.  Art and Senator Boner successfully brought this bill through the Judiciary Committee.

SF 121 Pharmacy Scope of Practice – After meeting with Pharmacists from around the state, Art co-sponsored this bill which is now law.

2025

SF 114 Missing Persons Reporting – A woman from Casper championed this issue and Art happily co-sponsored the bill and worked to get it passed into law.

2024

HB 45 Cap on Property Tax Increases – When property taxes were increasing by double digit percentages, Art acted and co-sponsored the bill that exempted increases above 4%. Read more by clicking then scrolling down to Homeowner Exemptions

HB 54 Wyoming Reads Day  – When friends of John Jorgensen approached Art he sponsored this bill  Wyoming Reads Day Rotary.org

2021

SF 74 Athletic Trainers Scope of Practice – When Wyoming Athletic Trainers approached Senator Landen with a need, he looked to Art to co-sponsor the bill and carry it in the House.
